Mum has let 2 pigs, and 15 piglets out to roam. I’m quite sure it’s not a ‘recommended best practice’ for keeping pigs, but it’s certainly a lovely twist.
Growing up I don’t remember there being any pigs around – the farm was predominantly beef and sheep – but now you only have to set foot on green grass before getting greeted by a curious bunch of piglets.
It’s quite special and I thought I’d share it with you for this weeks calming farming video. I spent an hour or so sitting in the field, watching the sky move on and the pigs root around.
