This Sunday is Mothers Day in the UK, and I have a lot to be thankful for as you can imagine. In celebration, today’s calming farming shows off the new chickens – a dangerously clean pen of White Leghorn’s. Mum’s very excited about them.
All white! What a double standard.
As 1 of 4 boys, we were never allowed anything white growing up… everything had to be dark in colour and practical. Especially socks - heaven forbid you set foot outside with white socks on. To my memory the only thing I owned that was white was my school shirt, even mum had to cooporate with the headmaster.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this months podcast – it’s available on YouTube here. I have also just released a new video about Fodder Beet. I’m excited to hear what you think in the comments.
